Melt the butter and pour it into a bowl, add the sugar and cocoa powder, mix it
Now add the eggs to the above mixture along with vanilla extract and whisk it till it is shiny. It should take about 4-5 minutes.
Now sift the flour ,salt and baking powder into the egg mixture and fold into it.
Finally add the yoghurt and chocolate chips into the batter. Pour it into a cake tin lined with a greaseproof paper or baking paper.
Bake this in a preheated oven at 165℃ for 28-30 minutes. A toothpick when poked after baking, will s have a little gooey mixture stuck. Cool and cut into pieces.
Now to make the poppers, crumble some of the brownies and make small balls out of them.
Melt the plain chocolate using double boiler method. Dip the brownie balls into the melted chocolate, coat them all over and place them on a plate with butter paper over it.
Whilst the the balls are still wet, crush the green gems and place each one on some of the balls. Put a tiny dollop of melted chocolate on the gems for the illusion
of the eye.
Refrigerate the brownie chocolate balls for at least 20 minutes till the chocolate hardens.
Now melt while chocolate and pour it in a piping bag. Take a brownie popper and pipe 3 circles over the top and with a tooth pick draw the lines joining the 3 circles giving it appearance of a cob web. Do the same for rest and refrigerate. The treats are ready.
